Has any one on here heard of these, ran these, or know if they are as good as tri state says? http://www.tristatecylinderhead.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42_41&products_id=43 Do you think they would work well on a 331 with a 533 lift comp cam. They have flow rated at 277cfm @600lift intake and 192cfm @600 lift exhaust.

I have no experiance with that head.I had the gt-p heads from them and they were great. Before you get to excited, you do realize that that price is each, not for a pair.

A buddy of mine has run these from them http://www.tristatecylinderhead.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=41&products_id=29 twice now and they make really good power. Right now he is running a there 210's on a 347 spraying a 150 shot. The only probablem we have had out of them is the valve springs are junk. But we are running over a 600 lift cam in it.

You are running an over .600 lift cam on a set of valvesprings rated to .550 lift and you call them junk? Sounds more like operator error.

Those are the Aussie Pro Comp heads.. they are ok!! they have the raised intake runners, and a lot of guys are making a lot of power!! They are the Vic Jr. knock offs!!

Only concern is the push rod alighnment... some times the guide plates need to be moded to keep the push rod right... but they can build a lot of power!! ( change out the springs if you want... )

Just me........................................

Nope thats why we changed them as soon as we got them. The brand of spring that comes on there heads i have never heard of. So we order a costom cam with springs from comp.
