Trouble with my 04 cobra bumper workin on my 2000 GT?

I have a 2000 GT that I just bought a 04 cobra front clip for, but after installing the bumper I have found that my hood hits the two bolt-up spots between the headlights and grill opening. My hood is stock so I'm wondering if theirs something different or what. Anyone ran into this before? Would appreciate some helpful info. Thanks
