I have a quick question. I have a vortech A-trim (5-6 psi)just lying around at the house, and i want to install it on my car. All i have in my car is a cam and some stock replacement headers. I have 24# injectors (not installed yet)and the matching mass air meter along with a fuel pressure regulator. Do i need an FMU in order to put on the supercharger or can i just install it and just put on the bigger injectors and raise the fuel pressure.

The FMU is required if you don't have the following:

Larger Fuel pump
Larger Injectors
Calibrated MAF to the larger injectors.

Otherwise, if you install a S/C on a stock setup you need to use the FMU. The FMU acts as a restriction in the fuel return line to bump up fuel pressures as a bandaid. Most people will tell you do to it right the first time. :nice:

Yes but.... (There is always a but) The 24# injectors might be a little small for an S/C'd car. This I'll defer to the people who have the most experience with it though.
