Hello,
I am trying to rotate the tensioner to releive tension from the drivebelt to replace the belt. For the life of me, I cannot get this little screw to move. I have tried liquid wrench to loosen it, but it will not budge. I have tryed to turn it so hard (using 3/4in rachet) that I have seen the whole tensioner body move a little bit to the right while the screw stays put.
The little gold screw below is the screw I am trying to unscrew. (With 3/4in rachet seems to fit.) Am I working on the right piece? If so, any suggestions how to get this little sucker out? It seems to have gotten me
The car is a 2001 V6
