Hi guys, Im brand new to the forum. Im looking at getting the TSW vortex wheels in a 20"/10 in the rear with a 285 tire. I noticed that the backspacing is a 42. Seems like most people here are going with a 45 backspacing with this wheel size. Does anyone know if this will fit or will I have to go with a 275 rear tire. Fronts look fine with a 35 offset on a 20"/8.5" wheel. Thanks and does anyone have these wheels on their mustang?

You shouldn't have any problem with the wheels and 285's. You are only talking a few millimeters difference. With a +45mm offset you can get as much as a 305 on the rear with no issues at all unless the car is extremely lowered.
