tubular K-Member 9 inch rims

Does anyone know of a tubular k-member that does not move the wheels forward. I want to run a 9 inch wide front rim.

i run 9" rims on a 1990 in the front no spacers i did use finders off a 91 have wide opening or biger tires. i still have stock K-member with my 9" rims 245-40-17 cobra wheel

I didn't think that would be a problem with any aftermarket K-member since just about everyone runs 9" rims on mustangs.
Who did you hear had a problem?
I know people that use the QA1 and D&D without issues.

The problem is that everyone set up is just a little bit different. I called around for the same info. UPR said that anything over an 8 inch rim was questionable. Max Motorsports said they had a setup that would work for $1700. I did some more research and the 3/4 of an inch that most manufacutrers move the wheel is the problem. The K memeber has this additional 3/4 of an inch for increased caster which is good, but has its drawbacks when running a large tire and rim up front. The coilover can be the biggest issue. Tire and rim rubbing can be reduced by rack limters. The companys I called said that a spacer may be needed. I dont believe thats a good thing, but thats my 2 cents.

Carlp has a QA1 in an 88 lx notch and the 15 in 225s that he runs rub bad!! So its actually a hard to say whats going to work.

I am in the process of replacing the K member and will be running a K member that does not move the wheel 3/4 of an inch and will reuse my stock A arm and a spring perch. I decided that the coilover was not that important. I can always change my mind in the future if I see that it may work. Just think its only money

running a Qa1 k-member with 18x9's no issues with it far too forward just plenty of issues with the width
