i am wanting to put a tubular k-member, a-arms and possible coil-overs on the front of my car. if i get tubular a-arms do i have to get coil-overs?

which is the best brand of k-member and a-arms? a friend of mine put a full QA1 setup on his car and it moved his wheels up a little causing him to only be able to run his front runners, he could not get his 16s on there. i am going to be running 17s and i want them to clear, i dont the wheelbase to be moved any?

so what kit should i buy and also if i have to get coil overs what spring rate should i get? this will be going on a street car but it will also see some track time, i just want to lighten the car up and plus the tubular stuff looks a lot better

You dont "have to" get coil overs for there are some kits that make them that will take stock style control arms. Having said that though, you should for the weight savings. Stock control arms weigh quite a bit.

Edit: What part of Texas?

Check this site out for some quality stuff. They also make them in chrome moly for ultimate weight savings.

I went with D&D pretty strong set up and a good price, it didn't move my tires either.

For the spring rate I went with a 14" 175lb, but for a more street oriented set up I'd go with somewhere around 210-250lb spring rate and a 12" spring.

Hope this helps,

BTW The car hooks so much better with this set up in the front I removed 50lb+
