I believe Bill Putnam once drove his front end into a big pot hole and damaged some front end components on his car, but his chromoly k-member from UPR products survived with barely a scratch.
You have to remember todays cars are ment to crumble in an accident, and since the Stock member is made to eject the engine underneith wheres the engine or entire front end going with the aftermkt one? Yes the aftermkt k members are stronger but would you agree when you get hit by something and forces your neck to jar harder.
