I am looking for people who have experience and have installed Tubular K-members kits. I am looking at the many kits that are out for the 5.0 fox, but I want to know what kits are best and do not change the factory steering or change the wheel position in the wheel well. This is for my street/strip mustang, I want to lose some weight off the front end and gain clearence in the engine bay. I have heard a lot of good from PA Racing and AJE, anyone have anything to say about those? I really like the PA Racing kit, it seems very well built and is suppose to have the geometry as stock. I have heard horror stories of QA1, so I would not like to take my chances with them.

Another point is I would like a K-member kit to work with my current struts (strange 10-way adjustable).

Thanks

I have a Pa- racing k-member. very nice piece. My only complant is the wait for it to be shipped. But it was exspected because thier k-members are made to order.

I think it took 3 weeks for mine to show, very eazy to install, but I had the motor out for winter rebuild. Pa-racing kit will keep your suspension and wheels in the stock location.

Just make sure you get the control arm set up for street if that is what you are planning on doing. I am stuck with the drag heim joint setup(without provisions for sway bar). QA1 is what I have, I like it though.

I have the AJE Racing tubular k-member with the tubular A-Arms. I went with the coil-over setup but they also sell a kit with the spring perches. Very easy to install (engine was already out for some new mods). I used the instruction from Maximum Motorsports website. The k-member is made to order so it does take some time. I work pretty close to their shop so I decided to go talk to them in person. Very friendly people who seem to really know/enjoy what they are doing.

Really? I ordered mine last tuesday and got it last thursday... ha God that was so fast i couldn't believe it. They answered all my questions, and shipped it off the same day i ordered it and i had it in 4 days! I couldn't complain if i wanted to! All i have to say is good things about PA Racing. I have a thread with pictures of mine in the talk section. I haven't installed it yet. It retains all stock specs as well. I was gonna buy AJE racing tubular K-member but i have heard to many issues with them not fitting right and didn't want to go down that road! PA Racing FTW!

I love my MM k-member, even though it does move the wheels forward 3/4".

Hasn't caused me any problems though yet. But the car handles amazingly for a fox body

That's cool that it handles good. It should with the longer wheels base. 3/4" isn't too much, is it noticeable?
