I found a tubular k member for a fox for $100 but the problem is he's not sure of what the make is and that it has no motor mounts because it was used with a motor plate for a SBC.

My question is could I just slap some motor mounts on it and drop it into a fox or will this no fit a fox with a sbf motor? I don't know much about motor plates and kmembers only installed a qa1 one before in a 91.. was thinking about picking this up and putting into my 88 but I don't have a sbc motor lol so would this work for me or am i wasting money?

thanks for the help

does it look like the motor plate could come out so that you could use the stock fox motor mounts?

He's going to send me a pic of it so when he does i'll post it up here but I seen the setup like six months ago when I picked up a few other parts from the guy and didn't notice any plate at all but didn't really pay any attention to it and he did say it was used with a plate setup so im assuming there's no plate.

Might as well pay the extra 150 and get a QA1 k member thats brand new and not have to worry about it.

well I decided to not go with this tubular kmember.. found some other parts that I want so if anybody wants a tubular kmember super cheap let me know i'll get you in touch with the guy. I've delt with him before he's a super nice guy who is totally honest about everything.
