Tunderbird Turbo motor in a 2.3 Mustang...?

Anyone done this ? A friend of mine planning to install a Tunderbird turbo,
2.3 engine in his 2.3 Mustang. Both has manuell gearbox, but what about the
Computer, and the extra wires from the turbosystem...?
(Think the Mustang is a -88, and the T.bird engine is a -87.) Thanks !
