If you are going to run 91 or 93, then I would get Race. I have not tried the Tq, but based on how the Perf felt, I would probably try Tq for DD at lower octane. Race above all if you are willing to run highest octane. This is based on my recent experience with the tunes from Bama and my 2007 GT. The Race had considerably better throttle response than the Perf, which is nice for DD. I assume the Tq would be similar in that it probably feels better for DD.

Agreed. What gas do you want to run?

I have the Race tune from them with 93 octane and have almost zero throttle lag with that.

But on other hand, my gas mileage sucks too. But that's probably cause of my aggressive driving and 4:10's don't help at all. lol

Same here with my 93 Race tune. Zero throttle lag. Plus, plenty of power throughout the entire rpm range. And for icing on the cake, my manual 05 GT with 3.55 gears gets 27 mpg on the highway doing a steady 65 mph.

I have the 93 torque and 93 race tunes in my diablo from bamachips and I use both. Driving around the torque tune is great as from 1000-3000 rpms it feels like it is quicker. But at the track it is no contest, the race tune is by far the way to go becasue of the revs. At high rpm the race tune screams and you can really feel the difference. At high rpm the torque tune struggles. Get both tunes and use them both, you will love them!

THanks Doug!

I've got Brenspeed 93, Bama 93 TQ and 93 Race and Tillman 93 'All Out' tunes. Bama TQ didn't really do much for me, Bama 93 Race was OK, ran it for awhile, seemed easier for me to drive smoothly with the 5-spd manual tranny.

That said, I'm running the Tillman tune now, I think I like it the best, throttle response seems even better than the Bama 93 Race.

Yep, no real answers for you, just opinions.

I run both the bamas 91 tq and 91 race. I have not ran a 1/4 mile track but at the 1/8 mile, the 91 tq has given me the best times. This may be do to the fact that the 91 tq tune is easier to launch. The guys over at bamatune agree with this, but said if I had drag radials or the like, the race tune might give me better times.

I have the bama 93 race and performance tunes... my preference is the race tune. Once you get used to driving it without the throttle lag, it is hard to go back.
