does it take three hours? I had a local shop tell me it would be three hours at 130 an hour. That seems like a long time to tune a car. I have the diablo predator software (because it came with the supercharger). My mods are a frrp axle-back and a paxton novi 1200. Any opionons or comments?

Are you talking about putting it on a chassis dyno and getting a custom tune based on the dyno readouts (HP, tq, and A/F ratio)? If so, the price seems OK to me, certainly not cheap, but not out of line if the guys know what they are doing and doing multiple pulls to get the tune spot on.

I paid $250 for a dyno tune when I had a Vortech on my '02, and he took about 4 hours tuning it.

You must allow for cool down time. This would be high in my area.

I used to work at at HP shop that did dyno tunes. The problem with that is people would always bring in their cars with all sort of problems that would have to be worked out. Of course the shop is going to charge to fix someone else's mistakes. Pay for a good tune, its worth paying extra for someone that knows what they are doing. If one guy is way cheaper, and isn't busy maybe there is a reason?
