I have been thinking about my next mod. I'm probably going to go with a tuning chip/superchip. I dont really know much about them, I searched the site and found out a little about them but not anything specific for my car. Can anyone suggest the best thing to do and a site? I have a 2004 GT with Flowmaster 40's welded in and an MGW short shifter.

Thank you all :hail2:

I have a custom tuned SCT chip with 4 tunes ranging from 87 octane, two 93 octane tunes, and a 107 octane tune. It's alittle more expensive than a programmer but I am very happy with my decision to go this direction.

I have been thinking about this and researching it a lot and here are my non-scientific results:
Predator - weekend enthusiast
SCT - serious enthusiast/track racer

I got a Diablo Sport Chip after my gears were installed. With an automatic I didn't have to many choices to correct my speedo. They installed an off the shelf tune that bumped the timing, not sure how much, and adjusted the A/F ratio's. They upped the rev limiter to 6K and firmed my shifts. I had before and after dyno's done and I got 15 RWHP with the chip. So, IMO, the chip has been by far the best bang for the buck when it comes to HP per dollar spent. http://stangfreak.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=528
