Tuning???

Im not really familiar with this tuning yall keep referrin to, I to carb motors and using a timing light and vac gauge. How much difference would tuning a stock motor make if any? Im gonna freshin mine up this fall and plan on installin a new cam(size yet to be determined we will talk bout that later) just curious if a tune would be worth the money I think its gonna cost like $600.

Just depends on how far out of wack it is to begin with , every car is different , tuning would require you getting a chip burned on your car , but getting a tune is usually good for 10-20 or more rwhp over nothing at all
