Very nice work, it looks like a kit.

You'll have to post 1/4 mile times when you get it all dialed in.

Question: When you are saying that when you stab the gas, it starts running richer, is the turbo sucking more gas out of the jets?

i finally got around to taking some pics of the car (if anyone cares). last night i started clearancing the hood for the bonnet. i've got most of the carb issues ironed out. just have to play with the accl pump cams a little. i plan on taking it to the track before it closes.

Sweeeeet

Question, did you build the long block with a turbo in mind or did you just have the motor then decide to put turbo on as an after thought?

thanks. lol, if you don't mind waiting 1 1/2 years for your kit. whatever i did, anyone else could do better.

it acts like it has the classic 'too much pump shot' syndrom. i talked to kevin from csu and he agreed. he reccommended what changes i should make. i haven't made the changes yet, but every carb change i've made so far has been in the right direction.
i'm not hitting the tires hard because of the stumble, but i haven't turned the tires over YET. even when it's going full boogie in 2nd and 3rd, the tires stick. the car acts like it's on rails. funny, because i haven't gotten around to setting the pinion angle, and it's visually way off.

Did you even have the PVCR's drilled. If not, you may get away with just the pump cams, lucky you. Guys running big boost seem to have the problems. Hope it doesn't become a problem at 20 psi. I will try my hand at the boost referenced PV when this thing is running. can't believe those friggin' tires are still grabbin'.

Haha, not even a rev ?! You know, it may sound loud to you. But when I was at the track the other day they said I had one of the quietest cars there. So, you gonna keep it like that ?

as you well know, it only sounds good under boost. the rest of the time, it sounds like an old chevy truck. so, the answer is no.

Haha, yeah. Inside, mine sounds like a Firebird with a glasspack. Oh well, the uglier it sounds, the less people will suspect it.

DUDE , 5k ?! I wanna transbrake.
Looks like your getting a domino effect on that stall.

can you you explain to me your fuel system???Im in the process of re doing mine and just want some comparisons.

ALso your air/fuel dips to "0" when you rev'd it, is it lean or is that what they do. My car will go lean "ON THE GUAGE guage at about 6000PRM at full boost and im just wondering if the guys are telling me to do a fuel system because thats what it really needs.

aeromotive a1000 pump, a13204 reg, -10 feed & return lines, -6 carb lines. just tapped into the bottom of the stock tank.
when it goes to "0", it means it's rich. the lower the number, the richer it is.
there could be a myriad of things causeing your lean condition. what does your regulator say? if it's still keeping enough pressure to the reg, then the problem is at the carb.
