Here is what I have. The car I have was in the process of having a twin turbo set up put on when I bought it. It was not finished, the guy kept the turbos, manifolds, and tweecer. I have been running it NA for a while now and want to go ahead and get a single turbo kit. the combo on it right now is
d.s.s. bullet short block 306
trickflow twisted wedge heads
trickflow streetheat intake
f-cam
42# injectors
blowthrough mass air for them
fuel pressure regulator
255 gal fuel pump
I really want to stay with as much of that as possiable. So have been looking at some of the kits and most of the stage1 kitscome with a 60mm or so. I don't want to over spin the little turbo but I don't want alot of lag twisting up to big of one. Its not a lot of displacement. D.S.S claims these shortblocks level 20 are good for about 600 or so h.p. I would like to be around 500.
what other parts do you recommend to go with the kit? Hotter ignition, aftermarket ecm? I plan on having the car tuned bu Murrilo in San Antonio, but what all will they need to tune the car correctly. Sorry to put so many questions in one.

For a turbo setup I'm going with an HP Performance (http://www.turbochargedpower.com or http://www.hpperformance.com) kit, they make a few different kits. From everything that I read they seem to have the best recommendations from everyone, Hellion Systems also seems to be good as well.

As for the turbo side a 60mm would be fine and handle what your looking for, but I would think about upgrading to the next level a 66mm turbo. I wouldn't worry about turbo lag with that size turbo on your setup.

You'll need to upgrade the ignition system MSD or something, run colder plugs due to the heat, your going to need to get either a tune or a tweecer or something along those lines. I would get a tweecer and ditch the fuel pressure regular as all that can be regulated with the tweecer as well as just about everything else.

Look at bgturbokits.com I would go with a master power t70 turbo. Its a great turbo for a fair price. You could pick up a master power foa around 600 dallors!
