Yeah I was gonna do the same thing this weekend, but I felt like watching football. lol

wtf

For me it's like: "Yeah, I'm thinking this weekend I might change my oil and tighten my header bolts."

The car looks awesome. Wow the resources you must have. Congrats on the mag article also. Vibrant red

So last night I finished up the cold side piping.. If I would have only had the right silicone conectors and pipe it would have gone MUCH quicker.. But I had to make do with what I had, and finally have a completed turbo system.. minus the fuel and tune requirements.

So yes, I reclocked the compressor housing downward, from there it's 2.5" over to the drivers side intercooler inlet.. 3" pipe out of the cooler up to my BBK air intake, which is 3.5" ( Figured I would resuse it since it looked pretty).. I plan on running the meter in blow through ( Pmas meter) on 42lb injectors. The fun part will be trying to drop the tank to pull the fuel pump.. Damn Saleen bumper will require removing the bumper too!

Total cost for me was only around $250 bucks or less I already had the turbo, wastegate, intercooler, and old H pipe.. I've totaled a setup out before for this car, and it came out to $1800 for everything including a tune.

what intercooler did you use? i'm starting to look around for my turbo project and i can only find ones that are too small (off imports) or too big (off trucks).

Im using an Ebay cooler I got on a trade deal.. Not 100% sure on the exact size.. but it has a 3" thick core, 2.5" inlet/outlets about 15" tall and 25-27" wide.. It works, but its not the best..

Ebay has TONS of coolers that would work well.. look closer.
