turboing the 5.0

Hey bud. I can see that you didn't get much attention. Unfortunately, I could not find any credible information about ponydowns.

In any case, the turbos you're looking at sound like Master Power T70s since they commonly come with a .68 A/R and a .81 A/R. They could also be the older style garret T70s. These work fine in 5.0s and are capable of pushing 700-750 hp. I'd recommend the .81 A/R, which should spool quickly and can get you well over 130mph through the traps without the nitrous. The T70 is a great fit for the 5.0 because it make enough power to split the block, it's cheap, and should spool more quickly than the larger turbos.
