how legal do you need? if you are in cali and have to pass the emissions there then you are stuck to the base line supercharger kits from all companies as they are the ONLY ones carb OEd... and they wil never get you 600HP. if you dont need to be carbed by a ref (like cali) and just need to pass emissions then get the Hellion turbo kit with the bassani Cats and get your power and still be smog legal. if you dont need to pass the sniffer, just HAVE cats, then get anything but the HP kit.

hellion i know prides themselves on having the kits in stock, one goes out another gets made to replace it. call Jim and see what he can do. If you are stuck in CALI and have to follow ALL the rules then get the KB, port the heads, and get stage 1 blower cams (anything higher and you could have issues with passing emissions). let us know.

i do agree with you i was orginally going to go twin turbo from HP but i've read on different forums that they take to long to send parts out and etc....the other issue i was running against was being emissions legal and i was told/read that they're not so that was the other issue i have...especially being in the military and having to drive on the base and all...if you can recommend a good one that i can get to stay legal please advise...thank you...

Are you in the Navy? I was stationed out there in San Diego for A-School for a while after boot camp. Then I was sent up to Alameda and did a WestPac on the Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). I miss San Diego, it was beautiful out there.

I feel for you on having to deal with the strict emissions laws out there. That may prove to be difficult to put 600 to the wheel and still pass emissions. I know it has been done, but it is going to be tricky. Anyway, give me a call next week and I can turn you on to a few good shops out there in the San Diego/Socal area.
