Tweecer help needed ASAP!

Hey guys I'm running a twEECer with a J4J1 tune on my 94 GT. I tried to tune the stock computer but just could not get it to idle correctly. Well, the j4j1 tune idles great, but at about 4000 RPM the car stutters and misses. Fuel pressure also drops from around 39 to almost 32. This didn't happen with the W4H0 tune. The only changes I've made have been the MAF transfer, injector high/low slopes, CID to 347, idle settings, and some fan speed settings. I'm also posting this in on the twEECer boards but sometimes it takes forever and a day to get a response there. Thanks guys!

i have a tweecer but i haven't even gotten around to installing it, so i'm no help at all, sorry.

Try copying the injector timing table from the W4HO tune to yours. You probably just need the high loads, so put it to 420 maybe and see what happens. Your cam might be funky or something, it's worth a shot. Then I'd try copying the timing tables over too. Just remember to copy the tables by entering the cells in one at a time by hand otherwise it won't take effect since CalEdit is glitchy like that. That's all I could think of that might cuase wierd stuff like that to happen.

You could also try using the Cobra R tune (ZAO). I'm not sure how that would work, the displacement is close to yours but the 351 is not the same motor.

I was going to say something similar to John's reply. A lot of times, you should change ONE parameter, then see how it runs, then change another. That't the good thing with having it hooked to a laptop, and having 5 switch positions. You could also put one load one tune on the laptop, and the other tune on your PC, then compare all the parameters screen by screen.

Yeah thanks for the suggestions. I don't really know why but the problem seems to be gone. I guess my computer just decided to sack the hell up. I do intend to compare the two different computers to see what the timing and fuel differences are. The W4H0 tune seems to rev faster and be a little more powerful than the J4J1 (this is all SOTP measurements). The idle with the J4J1 is rock solid though even with my added displacement and big cam.
