Tweecer or AEM ?

wich one are you talking about?? AEM or Tweecer (for the ones who dont know reading this). If your talking about the tweecer...the other option is as simple as entering it into the scaler.

Also the PMS does not have controle of the MAFtransfer from what I recall...and after seeing time and time again the importance of this ability...to me this is a HUGE issue with the PMS...read HUGE.

Just a thought here :D

Since we do have a good number of members on our very own site who use PMS and Tweecer for self tuning

I think it would be very cool and helpful as well to start a new thread and discuss the differences and methods of using each system to tune. :nice:

Thanks Blksn955.0. Now I know why the gentleman that I talked to about the PMS said that I would not be able to work out any idle or drivability issues with the PMS - because it does not have control over the MAF curve.

Another note: I think the PMS only takes over from 2000 rpms and up, which is another point that tells me that it rules out working out idle issues.

For some strange reasons, I can't edit my original posts.

I just finished my engine project on my 94 GT Auto and needless to say my stock computer is not happy. I have a SCT racer package, but it has not worked as well on this car as it did on my 03 GT. I want to make real-time changes without have to pull the chip and reburn it.

Thanks

Scott

Didn't I tell you. You will get lots of info. on this topic. Peace

That's why I posted here. You guys are great. It would be nice to see what you guys are going through with each system like Grady suggested.

Well Scott

I might post up a thing or two if you wanna start a new thread.

I would suggest the following guidelines:

Use words in the thread title that would make it helpful for future searches.

Encourage peeps to not get all emotional or think along the lines of...... mine is better than yours (pissing match) which will keep the thread tech and not sink down to a bunch of childish rhetoric and finally the mod locks the thread.

I'm proud to say that kind of thing does not happen much on our forum but still ........ peeps will be peeps, lol.

I started a new thread on November 7th asking tuners to chime in and provide detailed info on their self tuning efforts. The thread is still on the first page. There are some replys and hopefully lots more will chime in. Keep watching it though. Check it out. Peace
