Pics IMO are not nearly doing that paint scheme justice....I really would love to see some quality day/sun shots so it can be truely appreciated. Honestly the combo is one of the nicest I have seen...solid colors are wonderful but your selection is original and just damn good. I love every aspect of it and would love to see more pics when you have them available.

Thanks guys, I have some sun shots but they are awful. My photographer posted on here but his camera is down for right now. I will probably get some sub perfect shots and then get the real ones when his camera is back and running.

I actually dislike most Bullitts on most foxes, but the DD 18s in my book look great, and it somehow worked out that with my car everything being darker (headlights, taillights, tint, paint, wheels etc...) just looks subtle, but well thought out (which it isnt).

The tail pipes might be a while. I have to do a lot of cutting and welding for them, and might be running diff mufflers. These mufflers sound good dumped, but with tails are a little weak. When I get the louder ones I will slap the tails on.

You think that saleen front bumper would look good on a lx coupe no ground effects like that one?

yes I love that look. The Pacecars had a similar look too, lower front valance, with nothing along the side and back.

Exactly, that's because the Pacecars were designed to look like an open track racecar, and you don't see all the side skirts and junk on those cars, just the front valance for downforce. If you've ever gotten up under the back of a GT bumper cover, that thing is nothing but a huge parachute to slow you down...less bumper cover equals less resistance, and i need as little as possible lol.

Oh also while we're on the topic, another combo that looks amazing is the '85-86 nose with the newer Saleen valance like you have mated to it. It takes a little effort to make it look right, and i've actually only seen it once in a mag, but it looked really awesome since the '85-86 style isn't quite as squared off as the previous noses. It probably wouldn't look right on the bottom of my nose though.

Yeah I have been under a few GTs, and I do agree. It is like the Saleen wings, I have heard stories of racers back in the day with the wings take them off and pick up 2 tenths at the track, consistently.

I also do not like body kits, so it made sense to me!

I read an article a long time ago, i believe it was actually Steeda, but anyways they put a Mustang in a wind tunnel and actually tested a bunch of wings for downforce. Steeda makes that wing that looks a little bit like a Saleen wing and an LX wing combined, or sort of like an extended LX wing....anyways they said in the test that the Saleen wing actually caused more drag than any other wing they tested, and that the LX wing actually provided more downforce than the GT and Saleen wing, but that their wing was the best of them all.

I know which wing you mean, and personally I would only buy a wing for looks, and the LX wing looks the best, .

Thanks guys...

Yeah these pics are terrible, it is Nissan Bronze Gold Metallic on the bottem (similar to Mineral Grey) and Mercedes Black up top. I figured black was black but got this code off an AMG and was told it is not the regular black most companies use. Hopefully it is buttoned up this weekend or early next week.
