i want to get a upper and lower intake mani, and i wanna get the edelbrock cuz i hear they flow good. is the typhoon sold by AFM really the same and still jsut as good? itd save me money (100) and i can get the tb adapter.
The Typhoon is a clone of the Edlebrock RPM intake. I am currently running one on my 302 and it makes good power and flows pretty well after I did a little cleaning of the ports to remove any excess flashing from the casting.
I running the Edel rpm and it has worked out pretty good for me I guess. Lots of peeps say you don't have any low end tq with them but mine has enough for me.

To be fair my low end is propped up some by Ed's cam and my lt's but still ...........
I'm not sorry I went with it cause the mid to top end rpm range has really really inproved after upgrading the stock tb & maf.
I would not be afraid to go with that intake if your gonna go with heads & cam that match it well.
