So i got my new 4.11 rear put in place. Unfortunately I set the rear up using the yoke which came with it, not the old Mustang yoke. It is made for a Galaxie driveshaft, and is a bit wider than the Mustangs. My old U-Joint was a Neapco 1-4635 I believe, as I'm a 351c motor with a 9 inch stock. I believe I had the 3.750 yoke standard.

So... does anyone make a conversion U-Joint that I can get my hands on ASAP? I need to do something.

So would you say it made more torque, or does it "free the car up?"

:D Now now, you know I agreed with you.

Torque is phenomenal. It's pulling to 6100 before I realize it's time to shift. This new cam will hopefully bring it to the 6700-7000 range.

But yea, the speedometer and the tach don't really make sense. The tach is revving smoothly, but the speedo is jumping all over the place when I shift..... :nice:
