U-Joint Grease

I finally got around to swapping out my old rear u-joint today. I noticed I had some slop in the joint when installing a new exhaust several months back, so I picked up a new one. I was happy to see the u- joint came with a grease fitting, so I'll be sure to hit it with some grease from time to time.

I'm assuming the u-joint takes regular wheel bearing grease. Is that correct? Also did the original Ford u-joints come equipped with grease fittings?

Thanks,
Jim

Chassis grease, yes.

No, which is a real problem for hard-core show cars.
