I have a whine in my rear that appears to be coming from the rear u-joint. It is only heard from 5-30mph. My aluminum driveshaft is only 4 months old. Has anyone else experienced u-joint whine/noice? Thanks in advance.

I have had aluminum driveshaft on my car for 4 or 5 years now with no problems. have you had a set of gears done recently that is where your whine/nosie maybe coming from. They might not be shimed right. so If you had them done I would have them checked again
I agree.. I don't believe the d/s is making the noise.. Its probably the gears or even if you didn't have them done lately it could be a bearing starting to go bad.. I'd have that checked out before something bad happens
