My families car problems are getting out of hand, first my fathers expo, mothers volvo, and now my stangs *beats head against keyboard*

we'll start with the cobra. So I fill her with gas a few days ago (premium) and put about 86 more miles on it. So today it's time for class so I take the cobra instead of the GT (you'll hear why later) and I notice something is wrong. . .
The fuel gauge is 10 kinds of wacked out. I just take a peak at it like I always do , and it says im near E. . . well that's odd, i filled it up not too long ago. down the road it says I have 3/4 well thats more like it. a minute later it says i have 1/4 of a tank.. huh... mind you no changes in angles (hills etc). minute after that 1/8 of a tank, then a few minutes later on my way to the gas station back to 1/2 full. see where im going with this? the heck is going on?? decided I had no idea what was going on, and didnt want to risk breaking down so I came where hopefully my fellow stangers can help me figure out what the heck is wrong.

Now the Gt... my gawd... the problems this car has had, i swear it was a lemon. 98 Gt , some people might have remembered the story with this puppy, not too long ago it was rocking a check engine light, sputtering pretty bad after hard acceleration, been told once or twice that black smoke came out the back, poor gas mileage etc. I figured it was a head gasket or plugs went back, something like that. we took it to ford (even though we knew we'd get the shaft) they quoted 3k damage, rear main seal crack, heads, etc etc. took it for a second opinion at a local trusted mechanic, said all i needed was an oild change !?!?? as crazy as it sounds the car seemed alright for a while (beats me dont ask). Now however, the gas mileage still isn't great (even for our cars), i do still feel like i hates having heavy acceleration, but the next 2 things are the new problems and are the ones that have me afraid to drive it : first off the clutch out of nowhere feels wacked out, as I depress it it makes this click click click click sounds (and you can feel it too) . i've never encountered that before . . Shut her down and did a clutch reset and it didn't help. next this is the biggie the rear left side of the car.. and i say car in general because I dont know how to explain this correctly or really pinpoint the problem.. it feels like I almost have a flat tire? but its not consistent! it comes and goes... almost like the tire is mis shapen? almost like it.. wobbles? it just feels wrong! and I could almost swear that once or twice the car started pulling to the right a bit <-- but this last part could be my imagination.

Stangnet hellllp

also, maybe it should be noted that I follow a strict tune up regimenet, and I drive both cars very conservatively.
