hey guys i just rebuilt the 351c in my 73 stang and had it dynod about 2 weeks ago. its been sitting in the car sense then. because ive been waiting on the transmission and doing some other household things. today i decided to change the oil that was in it for fresh because it was a 2 hour break in oil. well when i first broke the drain plug loose 2 - 3 drops of clear fluid came out, looks like water, so i carefuly drained about a cups worth in a container and inspected the oil. it doesnt look milky and it looks like lightly used oil. i drained the rest of the oil and watched it carefully. the rest of the oil looked fine. could it have been condensation? maybe some water in the pan from cleaning it while rebuilding? what do you guys think?

Probably some residual condensation from assembly or something. If were only talking 2-3 drops....I don't think you have anything to worry about. I would definately keep an eye on my dipstick (jimmy) Could have been something that ran from the top of the engine down and collected around the drain plug and only "appeared" to come out of the pan. Thats just my thoughts though.
