Im gonna go out on a limb and say that a 5.0 or 6 cylinder exhaust kit wouldn't fit on a 2.3. 6 & 8 cylinder engines both have two exhaust manifolds. In the 5.0 they run straight back for a dual exhaust, and I imagine that the 6 cylinder mustangs exhaust must connect somewhere to run out single exhaust out the back. Our 2.3's only have one manifold, so it is a completely different setup. The only thing you can really do to a 2.3 exhaust is put in a high flow cat back system and a performance muffler and maybe split a y-pipe somewhere on the line if you want the dual exhaust look out the back. 2.3 Ranger headers also are direct bolt ons with the exception of having to tinker with the EGR pipe. I think the single biggest horsepower increasing modification has to be a turbo. Although, if you are wanting to put a turbo on a n/a then you are going to have to make a lot of modifications. Hope this helps to answer some of your questions.

A...there is no such thing as a 6 cylinder mustang before 94 and after ?86?...B...IT depends on what suspension stuff your talking about, CC plates, sway bars, A-arms, strut tower braces, and sub frames yes, springs and struts will fit but may not ride well...C...For suspension go and get a GT front and rear sway bar at the junk yard and some energy suspension endlinks/bushings...For HP there is not a whole lot to do to an N/A...exhaust, intake, porting....but you will spend a lot of money to still have a slow car. Save for a turbo engine, and don't turbo an N/A it will blow...

PS-try doing some searches because all of these things have been discussed before and you can learn a lot of info....
