On ESPN2, Stacey David (the original host of “Trucks!”) is on a show called "GEARS". I saw an episode were he used this product called "Chassis Saver".

Have any of you heard of it & would this be a good choice for undercoating?

Stacey claimed you can put it on a rusted surface & it will neutralize the rust & protect metal sealing like paint.

We talked to the paint supplier at the body shop my car is at about getting us some por-15 because of how great it works and he said just give this stuff a try. He said you will like it, trust me. So we got a quart to try. This stuff is like tank armor when it dries, really hard to sand off and will be there for a long period of time. He said it is hard to save once you open the can but we took a plastic walmart bag and put between the can and top and it is still usable a month after we opened it. I have never personally used por-15 but im pretty sold on this stuff.

I used Herculiner on my car, it dries very hard and coats very evenly. The downside to it is if you get it on your skin you prettymuch have to wear it off.
I'm very pleased with the results and the kit included 1-gallon of goo, the rollers, brushes and scotchbrite pads $79.00 at pep boys.
Don't know if it's the same kind of stuff or not but it sounds like it.
By the way it was recommended to me by the guy who painted my car.
