Underdrive Pulley Belt Size

I recently installed BBK Underdrive Pulleys on my 94 GT. The only problem was the belt, a 895k6, which i used to bipass the smog pulley seemed too long with the new pulleys, and slipped off.
I looked through some old posts and found people using 90k6's with underdrive's and it seemed odd i would need to go a whole inch shorter.
We also tried a 887k6 which was way too short.
The 895 sounds like the right size, but for some reason does not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did anybody ever help you with your belt question? I have pulleys on mine, and am about to replace the belt. Will I be able to use a new factory belt, or will I need to get a shorter one? Can somebody hook me up with a part number?

I used my stock belt when I put my for ford underdrives on. And when I bypassed my AC and smog it came out to be 81.0 long. I have a diagram as well if you need it.
