couldn't find any opinions/reviews in the past forums. anyone have any experience with these guys? i'm looking at their factory spec aluminum 2 row with fan and shroud setup. let me know what you think. specs say the 14" spal fan is rated to 1650 cfm. is this enough for a n/a 347 with 475 hp? also, how much noise do spal fans make? i've heard plenty of electric fans that are way to loud for my liking. here's the link... let me know what you guys think: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/64-6...ryZ33602QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

not true... 64-66 had inlet/outlet on passenger side. 67 and on used a wider downflow radiator, inlet on drivers side, outlet on passenger, this way the water had to travel across the tank, and probibly made it through more of the core than it previously did. ive retrofitted my 65 with a staggered type from summit, and i can tell you it is a pia finding a lower hose to fit. btw, the unit you are refering to is the same one summit sells, with the addition of the fan and shroud. if you want it with out, you can save yourself 200.00. a nice piece, made by northern mfg. in the u.s.

I just purchased a dual 11" Spal fan setup with a made-to-order aluminum shroud for my Griffin radiator. Each fan is rated at 1300 cfm, so I'll have an estimated cfm of 2600. It was on the pricey side (~$225). However, the quailty of workmanship is excellent, and the fit is great. They turned around my custom order, and had it shipped to my door is just over a week.

I would recommend them.

Actually, the 67 & 68 (I think through 70's) had inlet and outlets on the passenger side. Most aftermarket replacement aluminum radiators offer the staggered, which is fine if you are using a late model water pump which has the outlet on the drivers side.

Regarding the Spal fan, I am using the 16" puller rated at 2000cfm for my 347 and it cools great. My radiator is a PWR unit and I located a nice polished aluminum shroud that is only 1/2" deep to keep within my size requirements. The fit is perfect and I am really happy with the outcome.
