Last weekend my brother had the UCF-Houston game on TV, and I heard the commentators talking about how there had been talks of expanding the Big East and that Houston was one of the teams being considered for that expansion. WTF?

what happens when Auburn wins the BCS and they bring up Cam Newton on all these allegations that are floating around?

Same thing that happened to USC. They vacate the wins and lose the national title they won when Bush played.

Rumor has it the NCAA may suggest suspending him today.

sucks for Auburn. I have 3 or 4 coworkers from there (guess it helps when you are only 75 miles away).

One of the churches Cam's dad runs is in my town

I guess if all of that happens, LSU could be on it's way to another BCS title

Doubt LSU would get in over Oregon, TCU, and Boise. The chances of taking a 1 loss team over all of those is pretty unlikely. But stranger things have happened.

Auburn should do the right thing and leave Newton in the locker room.

It is obvious that Newton's Dad broke NCCA rules. It's possible that Auburn was involved. The FBI will find out the facts.

Now that LSU finished their scrimmage in the middle of the season it's time to move on.

So the SEC Championship game is going to have two coaches who are both UF alumni, but neither who coach UF. Hah! That sucks!

UF really needs to quit with this bullsheet "loyalty" in terms of who plays. Sure, I respect John Brantley, and I thought he was going to do well this year, but he just doesn't cut it. Our team is not built for a drop back passer (this is NOT Spurrier's team from '96), and Brantley just can't fill the role. Reed has done a much better job in his limited action at QB. Why he is not our starting/main QB? Who knows. They're still calling him a freaking TE! If this doesn't change soon, I see more "Ls" for UF in the future... UGH!

I'm a big AU fan from here on out, though. I grew up one (both parents went to AU), and only changed due to going to school at UF. So, it is what it is, but GO AU!

I watched Newton for the first time last Saturday. He is a very good professional player.

Unfortunately, he is supposed to be an amateur player (we already know he is a crook). He once played for UF and ran into a lot of trouble and was sent packing (he stole a laptop then threw it out his dorm window when confronted by the police). Blinn College offered him a job and then TN tried to hire him before Auburn's offer beat Mississippi State's offer.

I predict that Alabama will beat Auburn before South Carolina wins the SEC championship. Then Auburn will forfeit all of their wins this year after the FBI completes its investigation.

LSU just score another TD against ULM.

We have had our share of QB problems too...somehow we found ways to win in spite of them.

I agree. The Alabama Polytechnic Institute is certainly a college in Alabama where those go that can't be accepted to the Univ. of Alabama.

Yes, we are rednecks. But the nomenclature is not something that offends us.

We work hard. We discovered the Balantidium coli.

Auburn guys (the chicks are very cute) possess symptoms of balantidiasis which vary from fulminating, sometimes fatal dysentery or profuse diarrhea to an essentially asymptomatic carrier state within the broad spectrum of amoebic colitis.

Once Auburn admits their mistake (and the sooner the better), LSU should fight South Carolina for the SEC championship, and the right to play against Oregon for the National Championship.

I'm not referring to the actual students as the rednecks, it's the sidewalk Alumni. You know the ones with big old 4x4 trucks that haven't been washed in years with the faded G logo (which I thought was odd that there were so many Green Bay Packer fans when I first moved here ) that most likely didn't even finish HS

I had never even heard of Auburn until I moved here (5 years ago), but several of my coworkers are from there. I drive through there a few times a year

btw, after watching the War Tigers and the Crimson Terds duke it out today, is there any doubt that either team could beat any non-SEC team in the top 10 right now???
