i just installed my o/r bbk h-pipe. the results and sound were very impressive with my flowmasters. i was crossing my fingers. the pipe had a direct fit "yes". straight foward install. had a little hole on 1 of the tailpipes but fixed. the other 1 slighty rubs the tire a slight bit. i was thinking if it was nessecary if i could put a 1mm spacer for seperating the tires away from the tailpipes.

the sound is AWESOME ! smooth, throtty and deep. not raspy whatsoever and its felt by SOTP. the driver side tailpipe is rubbing against the tire. everything is installed correctly. ill try moving it around to get it away from the tires. other than, ive been hearing negative things about bbk o/r pipes. i dont know why they worked great for me i would recommend it

I agree with you there. I managed to get mine for free off a Roush clone that came through my dealership and it woke things up quite nicely. I actually chose the MAC exhaust due to the sticky here that listed it as the loudest of the major tested setups. Needless to say I wasnt too impressed with it behind the stock cats. But once they were gone.....

You might be able to rotate the rubbing side's tailpipe where it connects to the H. I've had to do this to find clearance before.

Sounds like it went better then my Pypes X install. I had a rough time getting it all to connect correctly, kind of. It has a small leak at the header and the driverside tailpipe is hitting the underbody when it idles.

I do love the sound of the X though. Louder then the stock but not as loud as the mac H I had before. I really like it in the upper RPM's, it sounds like its turning 10k but its really only at 4500.

i fixed the "rubbing" problem. just adjusted the hanger. had some small holes along the tailpipes as well. fixed those suckers up . i love the sound of the the h-pipe with flowmasters. i think the both h and x pipes give off almost the same gains.

same here. i have mac shorty unequal headers. i love the sound it gives off and started to get good complaments. i could feel it open up arounnd 2000 rpms. i did some anlayzing and realized that the h-pipe is good for low end and the x-pipe is good at top end. both w/o cats. i didnt see any difference in power loss between the 2
