Love it. I would like to restore a pace car some day to factory specs. I always loved them and would love to have one in my stable someday.
Heh - maybe you could have convinced him to sell you his...that is until he defiled it
settle. everything he has done can EASILY be returned to stock.
looks sick as hell man!
LOL, yup. And before you say it, I don't collect cars, I build them, lol.
Good for you! It looks a billion times nicer than a restored pace car and it's yours so do want you want with it.
A billion? Really? Does it look THAT much better? Really?
Yes, yes it does. IF you would like me to vomit on the floor and throw some stripes on it I would be more than happy to create a new pace car for you.
Did the factory doors come with the handles mounted towards the bottom and the window crank lookin all trick like that? If not, I think that's my favorite part along with the center console.
Yes, the 1979 mustangs were the only fox body that had the handles at the bottom of the doors. However, the window cranks have been updated to not look like 70's peices.

So that's what you feel about the first fox bodied Mustang? The Mustang that was good enough to be a pace car? The Mustang that changed the way people look at our beloved pony car? Really? Vomit?
