im wanting to upgrade the springs,LCA's,struts and maybe the cc plates but dont want to spend a ton. was thinking frpp c spring and some kyb gr2 struts but am at a loss after that. had my heart set on steeda alum lca's but cant justify the price on a convertible that only see's the 1/8 mi. any advice would help!

It depends on what you want to set the car up for. Fist of all, get subframes. I am guessing that drag is the most important, or at least a drag bias. In that case I would suggest some Lakewood's for the struts and shocks. Probally 70/30 on the front unless and 50/50's in the rear. Eibach Drag springs instead of the C springs. Then a good set of controll arms, such as the BBK kit. Now if your hardcore, do 90/10's instead of 70/30's and lift style LCA's.

i only take it to the track about once or twice a year so i could care less about drag springs, i just want it to be tighter on the street. I had some sub frames welded in last summer and that seemed to help alot but its a heavy car (convertible) so thats kinda why i was thinking about alum. lowers and cc plates, try and lighten it up a bit with out riping out my carpet and stuff.

Try Ebay- I got a set of Steeda Competition (850-1050 front, 300-350 rears) springs pretty cheap, HUGE difference in handling. Lane changes take about a half second, NO body roll!
Also Steeda springs have about the optimum drop for both looks and handling. You can drop a Mustang further, but you actually negatively impact handling if you do.

yeh i looked at the steada springs but the drop and rates were about the same as the frpp c's and they were about 70 bucks more, im still thinking about there alum lca's, same price range as the MM lowers. What about caster camber plates? you guys have opinions?
