Hello everyone, new member here.

I'm sure you have heard this a MILLION times but- I would like to replace the head unit in my Mach 460 2002 Mustang.

Is there anything that I can do or am I SOL?

I'd really just like to get an idea of what all of my possibilities are right now because I would like to start replacing things during the summer.

Thank you!
Andrew

Any recommendations then?

I'd like something with iPod or auxiliary connections and DVD playback. Preferebly in-dash without the fold up screen.

Something with a nice price as well would be great.

Your looking for a double din unit. I recently installed the Kenwood DDX6019 in a 2003 GT. The Kenwood was a very nice unit. The trim ring needed slight modification to fit without the screen catching it to open for the CD or DVD to be inserted.

Dual also make a DVD unit. Before I get flammed for mentioning that company I have seen less Dual unit returned then Pioneer. Depending on your budget I could pick many units.

If you have an iPod specifically I would definitely go with something iPod ready then just an AUX jack. The Aux jack loses a lot of function from the iPod.

Kenwood and Dual are decent units for the price. If you want a spend a little more you could pick up an Pionner or Alpine for are $1,000. Let me know if you have any more questions.
