My front passenger side sounds blown and the drivers side is starting to make the same noise, so I thought it was time to upgrade. 
Elemental Designs e3.6 dual 4 ohm 6.5" subs. These things are beefy as ****. They're wired up now for an 8 ohm load so the stock amps will be happy with them. And when I eventually get rid of the stock amps ill be able to run these with an aftermarket amp at 4 ohm too. The magnets barely fit in the stock opening, but they fit and everything clears in the back of the door.
I still need to get the wiring adapter because I dont wanna cut the stock harness for some reason.
Im going to best buy tomorrow to see if they have them, if not ill order them on ebay and wait.
6x8 to 6.5" adapter. I had to dremel the opening to fit the magnet.
