upgrading to cobra brakes

I bought mine through my tuner. who bought them from Baer. I think Gene Evans in GA has the cobra kit cheap. Any ford racing ford dealer has them, I dont like some of the rotors that come with the cheaper kits

Thats right, I forgot about the 5% discount. that makes it an even better deal. It will be hard to find a place cheaper.
Ya i wish mine was only 379.95 but since im going with the red calipers its about $429.49:(

Would anyone happen to know if the install can be done in a driveway with simple tools?

Yes, very easily. All it requires is unbolting 2 bolts, sliding the old caliper and rotor off. Unhooking the brake line. Then slide on the new rotor and caliper, bolt it down. Both on the brake line and then bleed the brakes. Should take 1-2 hours at most.

diff people will give you diff answers. i upgraded the rears too because i planned on road racing. also the bigger rears look a lot better. heres a pic of my setups.

should i upgrade both front and rear or just front?

For the price i would do both. The rear kit is $170 from summit and is everything you need and you must reuse your GT calipers.

The larger vented rotor offers better fade resistance and looks better behind open wheels
