I bought a set of these full wrap around door sills for my car from upr:

Unlimited Performance Racing Products On-Line - 1994-2004 Complete Stainless Door Sills

Unfortunately they come with no instructions or installation hardware...called upr and they said they just sit on top of the stock ones....no installation hardware necessary...

Well they dont just "fit" on top of the stock ones like that...does anyone have any prior experience installing these? Any tips?

If your talking about the scuff plates just inside the door then you need to rip out the stock scuff plates. The stock scuff plate flap should be up under the part where your carpet starts. As easily as you can try and get that scuff flap out from under where the carpeting starts, then it just somewhat unsnaps loose. I had to get alittle mean with mine but luckily I did'nt tear anything out other than the stock plate. The aftermarket ones should go on no problem with the 3M tape on back. I've had mine for 3 years with no problems. Mine say "Mach 1" on the plate, but I got mine somewhere else.

I like them, but that's odd about upr. i have had nothing but great experience with them. i think on your door sills you just remove the old ones and then put the new ones in their place.

Take off your old ones lay the new ones in their place, shut the door and then weld the door shut. Then you can Bo and Luke Duke it into your car every time you need to go some where.
