i have a 93 lx put a upr tubular k memeber in with there coil overs. i am finally almost ready to drive the car again. (rebuilt everything) i put my wheels on and pulled it out side and back in yesterday to clean and the fron wheels rub the coil overs so bad it took almost an 1/8 inch off my lip. anyone had this problem? i have 93 cobra wheels with a regualr fox ofset. worked with the stock set up and this k memeber kit was supossed to be the same. anyone else have this probelm? i need to have it aligned still i dont know if that will fix it? any help would be great.

The K member is not the problem. The interference is caused by the strut being too close to the wheel and that is a controlled by the spindle.

Not the same set up but I did have rubbing problems with CO's.
I wound up slotting the holes in the strut so I could tip the the wheel away from the strut and make up the camber adjustment with the CC plates.

You could use a cam bolt to accomplish the same thing.

i used an 1/8 spacers to push the front tires out then adjusted the coilover till it was not rubbing the rims. u can get the spacers from your local part store

my struts are slotted. im not sure where i set them i will take it back apart tomorow and let you guys know. the k memeber itself is awsome everything lines up good just had to grind the tab off one engine mount.

I havn't been able to drive my car with CO's on them yet... only got 1 side done but I don't seem to have any interference issues as far as I can tell... I have the MMR kit and was just curious what the differences could be. Almost all the non bilstein kits look identical. I am running 2k GT 17x8 wheels with sn95 spindles. I will have to admit if I was running a 16 it might rub though.
