He brought me a bouncing baby Dart 351.. 4bolt mains on 2-3-4, cylinder walls are huge thick. Can't wait to get this beast together.

Specs are:
Dart 351 Block
Forged 408 Internals - Low Compression for YSI or Turbo
KAASE or TFS CNC Ported TFS High Ports
Cam - Custom grind
Intake - TFS
C6 Tranny with Transbrake and 3500 stall

That's the list so far. Don't have the heads yet, the rotating assembly is at the machinist getting balanced with the flexplate and damper.

 keep us updated on the build! :nice:

and at the very least, take the spoiler off! :p

I know, i know, I hated it when i first got it but sadly know it's growing on me. It's gonna be a full out drag car that will/should be still street legal so the less weight the better. I got it of my buddy pretty cheap.

I think the car would be sexy as hell as a clean silver notch with some decent wheels.

Can you at least take off the black?

I am going to change it. My buddy has his own sign shop and has gotten into doing full vinyl cars. This is what he made for me and what the car will look like hopefully by the end of summer. It won't be tubbed though, maybe next year. I'll see if I can afford the vinyl this year or not after this drivetrain build.

I'll keep you all up to speed on what's happening with the build. I'm already running into snags. It is a Windsor style block but has Clevland mains and takes a Cleveland crank. I got that straightened out and got everything down to get balanced. Trying to find a rear main seal is a pain too. Had to order it directly from Felpro.

Okay, well did you lift it up on the workbench by yourself?:D

Very nice looking. In my opinion, Dart makes the most well designed block.

I did. Not without some grunting and groaning mind you. I just got it up there to take the pics. Haven't put it on the engine stand. That will take two people. I can't hold the damn thing and bolt it up by myself. I'm guessing in the 200-250# range. I'm a big guy so it really wasn't that bad. I do like Dart stuff. I got it as a Level 10 from DSS so they machined it even more. It's a nice piece.
