URGENT! 3g alt. wiring q's.

ok, so i kno i need to connect a new plug to the white wire on my stock harness. but what shoudl it be hooked up too? the harness side? or the oval plug side? what should i do with the other end? and what do i do witht the large black/oragen wire that splits into two? finally, what wire do i use to bolt to that stud on the back?

sry guys but the sun i goin down and i need to do this! thanks alot!

I would follow Jrichker's advice on his alt posts - he outlines how to wire it up. On the plug with the two stock charging wires, you tap into the stator wire (white/blk IIRC) and run that to the sole spade terminal connection on the 3G. That plug then gets tucked away (DONT leave the stock orange wires connected to the alt).

The new power cable you ran (4 AWG) connects to the stud with a nut. The smaller plug plugs and plays like it did before.

Dont forget the power ground upgrade that Joe so wisely recommends.
