Urgent question regarding installing a new head unit in a Mach460 02 GT

Hey all I am going to best buy to get a new head unit put in.. They are going to use something called the Install Edge Premium System Interface 2 for 40 dollars.. Has anyone ever used one of these? will it work? I dont really trust them.. help please before i go in!

They are correct. Due to the factory amplifier set up you need that interface. The speakers will still be run with the factory amps. The only thing you'll change by changing the head unit is the signal going to the amps. Reallisticaly there will be a very small difference in sound.

I went with a Scosche interface adpater I got from Wal-Mart for about $12, works like charm
