have a 98 gt with keyless entry...
have an aftermarket alarm im tryin to wire in (Avital 2300)
i was told i need to add diodes somewhere so the two systems don't interfere with each other, which they are!
i installled the avital alarm and it works fine...
the problem is my factory alarm is going off when i get into the car.the Avital alarm is arming the factory alarm.. understood... WHY DOESNT IT DISABLE IT ALSO
how do i get the Avital alarm to work with the factory, or disable the factory alarm totally??
ive looked thru forums everywhere, they all mention diodes. where do i wire in the diodes?!?!?!
if anyone knows or even thinks they might, would be greeatly appreciated
