So my friend and I were driving down this long street at about midnight tonight, and we see two vehicles about halfway down the hill, and one is almost sidways next to the other one. We instantly thought they had an accident, so I drive slowly towards them. As we get near, I see that there's an old Ford Exploder and a 4-door Saturn. When we're about 40 feet away the exploder nails it around the saturn and takes off. So we pull up and ask what happened:

me: are you okay?
guy: those ****ers just egged my car while they were driving next to us!
my friend: was there an accident? *we hadn't understood yet that there was no accident, because it looked that way and it hadn't hit us yet*
guy: dude! those guys egged my ****ing car!
my friend: oh, wtf? they egged your car?
guy: YES!
me: want me to follow them?
guy: yeah, I didn't want to do anything alone because there were five guys in the truck and I didn't wanna start any **** with just myself and my girl here
me: alright, we'll get em

I nailed it and took off, quickly leaving that guy in the dust. I got up to about 70 by the time I hit the bottom of the hill. At the bottom, you can only go left or right, so my friend tells me to check left and he'll check right. My side was clear, but my friend told me he saw tail lights all the way at the next intersection on his side. I nailed it again and broke the back end out for a good 90 degree turn and spun the tires through two gears. We were in pursuit.

Got up behind them just as it turned green and they went left, and they spun the tires as the saw us quickly coming up on them. Then we were on a long, open road that goes for about 2 miles. They took it up to 80 MPH trying to lose us, but I kept right on their ass until they were forced to stop at a light. Right as they came to a stop, my friend started writing down their license plate number. He got 5 of the 7 characters down before they squealed off again, and tried to make a run for the freeway ramp, clearly freaked out by this myserious mustang following their ass at high speeds. They got on and gunned it, and were easily at 90 MPH by the time they merged with the freeway, but I was right on them. I floored it and caught up to them without even breaking a sweat, as my cam's powerband was practically made for the freeway.

My friend got the last two characters off the plate, and he and I turned around and drove to Dennys to celebrate and call the cops, describing in detail everything that happened, and the police officer even asked me which way they were last heading. I kindly told him, hoping they'd get pulled over by highway patrol or something for being such douchebags.

All I can say is that I'm EXTREMELY glad there was no one outside tonight, as I would never drive that fast through the areas I did. But I think it was worth it, cause we have these skateboard punks who always roll around and egg/TP houses in my residential area (where the incident tonight coincidentally took place), and they've never been caught before. I finally got to use my mustang's power for something constructive and good, and I hope the guy ****ing nails those punks to the wall for the damage, and then maybe all the other houses that have been damaged within the last 2 years will get a piece of their asses too.

Oh man, what an adrenaline rush that was. I think I'm gonna go into law enforcement with a specialization in high-speed pursuits

Anyway, sorry it's long - just had to share. :SNSign:

God bless the 5.0!

Lol, like 5 or 6 six crimes were commited by you. Lol. But I would have appreciated it. I had some joker highschoolers shine one of those million candle watt flashlights at me while taking a hard brake almost causing me to rearend them. Got the ****ers plate, but I kept it for myself. I know he lives in town....

I've never really chased anybody down, but i've called in a few drunk drivers, and followed them while staying on the phone with the operator until the cops come up with the lights goin.

I've chased a couple of people down too

My favorite was when I was hanging out with my friend at my father-in-law's convenient store. He told me and my buddy to watch a guy cause he looked suspicious like he was gonna steal gas... you know backed in, plate covered, looking at us, car running.

Anyway I casually walk out to my 86GT Vert and get in and put my keys in the ignition... sure enough he gunned his car (a little 94-95 escort) and took off! My friend ran out and jumped in and I took off after him. I hit about 80 (speedo went to 85mph) or so in no time. Dude started going head on into traffic and we whipped around staying on him. Here's the funny part-

This moron was trying so damn hard to get away he blew his motor and had to pull off in a cloud of smoke! So by that time we're out confronting him and my dad in law got there. He takes out what turned out to be a spatula handle threatening us with it and then ran off. The cops got him down the street and told us next time not to chase cause the boy could have sued us

We did something similar on the highway one time. My friends 2003 GTI 20th and my 5.0. There was a guy flying up on us cutting people off and being an ass. Well i got in the left lane to pass a slower car (GTI was a little ways up on the right). This guy gets on my right, turns nearly in to me, and forces me onto the breakdown lane (left brakdown lane, its a divided highway with trees in the middle). Well the guy I was going to pass (reason for me being in the left lane) rolls his window down, and says he got the plate number, so I throw a call to the GTI driver. He imediately goes in chase (guy had to be doing over 100). I drop a gear or two and catch up fast. I get around in front, and slow us down a little (he didnt like this) and I am not taking credit for this, but the passenger in the GTI gets his slurpy drink, and fires it at the side of the truck. Gets the windshield and got a good amount inside the truck. Needless to say he slowed down and darted off the highway at the next exit, and we never saw him again.

Again this is probably the only time I have been that reckless to get back at someone. But seeing the drink explode on his windshield was very relieving. Some people deserve that!

the slurpee story rang a bell for me so here it goes. im out cruising at night with my buddies in my first car, a 67 mustang gt 289 4speed(loved the car to DEATH but it was such a piece) and we are passing a group of younger teens (5-6 of them) walking down the street. one of the smartasses decides it would be a good idea to throw his slurpee at my car. well he throws it, hits and breaks my new antenna, scratches my paint on my hood, and the slurpee gets all over my windshieldand interior(the only really nice part of the car). at this point in am so mad i can barely think. i keep driving back toward my house which was very close so i can think of what to do. well my buddy grabs whats left of my antenna and as im washing my windshield i remember i have a nice sized lemon tree in my yard. so i fill up the passenger and rear floor pans with my freakishly large lemons, my buddy grabs the antenna and we go out looking for these kids. before i forget, the 3 of us in the car are all baseball players, and they are both pitchers that throw about 85-88mph. anyway, we go out looking for these punks and we end up finding them about 1/2 mile down the same road we first saw them on. the first pass by them my buddy whacked one kid n the head with the antenna and my other buddy hit one in the head with a lemon. we make a right turn and come around for another lap. this time my buddys hit 1 kid each with a lemon, so we have hit about 4 of the 6. i take off, and we get back to my house. im still pissed and convince my buddy to drive his car so we can make 1 more run. well last run we found them on a side street from the main one, so i hang out the window and nail one in the head and my buddy in the back hits one in the neck. looking back it was kind of childish and messed up, but i was friggin pissed and those little s#its deserved it.

i was following my gf home from college 2night, 2 hour drive. Some jackass in a flashy new SUV flew up on doing around 90 and cut her off real bad, almost sent her off the highway. I sure as **** wasn't having that...i caught him in about 15 seconds and got up aside of him screaming to pull it over. He threw his hands up in the air like he didnt want to, say after some few choice words and the finger i just slowed back down to see if the girl was ok. i was really hoping i got to slap him around...guy needed it. He was swerving in and out of traffic doing like 90 on a two lane highway like he owned it. pisses me off, he almost smashed some old lady too.
