I created a useful little Excel spreadsheet that people might find helpful. You give it the rear wheel info (eg 285/35/18), and it tells you what your rpms and speeds should be for the common gear sizes (3.27, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10).
Since .XLS is not a valid forum file extension, I cannot post it here as is. I attached it as a .DOC, but I don't know if it will still work. If you want a copy of it, feel free to send me an email at [email protected] and I'll send it to you.
Feel free to play with it and let me know if I have any of the calculations wrong.
When I have time, I'll implement it in Java and post it on my web site.
