I've had my V1 for several months now, but I've never messed with settings. I've searched, and I found that there is an All bogey modes, advanced logic, and logic. What is the differences between them, and what should I use for daily driving on country roads? Right now my screen displays L, which mode is that? Mine always picks up the cop, just not like what I hear (people picking signals 2-3 miles away). I understand terrain has a big impact, but I'm trying to get all I can from it. And finally, how do you change modes? Thanks for any input.

Here is a link to the Users Manual

Read It.

I usually run in "L" logic mode, It cuts down on most of the false alarms.
It's been a while since I used mine but I think you change modes by pressing down on the power knob.

Yep that's got it, thanks! I've been in Advance Logic mode. I'm gonna switch to All Bogey's (most of my driving is open country roads) and hopefully it will pick up a little sooner.

I run in All bogey mode, you can change the sensitivity of the settings to tailor to your environment to have the power the false alarms. Like shutting down X band if thats not a threat in your area, and also, not showing K band until a certain strength radar is received. Most LEO radar is much more powerful then a typical garage door opener. Keep Ka at full strength in all modes.

Is there a master reset for the V1? I got mine used, so the previous owner could have changed the settings which is why mine's not picking up in the area as well as what I hear from other users. Thanks a lot!
