its a long story its all in this thread, but after install, got my first tune,499rwhp,drove it home it was detonating like crazy,so i parked it,next morning i checked my oil and it was mixed with water!,blown head gasket!
replaced head gasket with a thicker one,9333pt1,cylinder pressure went from 185psi to 160psi
changed pulley from 333 to 347,re tuned, and got 418 rwhp, but its still detonating from 1plus psi,the tuner said that my car runs to hot?,and for it to work i have to get my temps below 180deg?.....in the summer my car runs between 185-195 moving, and 195-210 in hot traffic?

Your temps don't sound extreme to me IMO. Does your car still detonate before it gets to the 180-200 degree temps? Sounds pretty easy to find out to me, go drive your car and get into boost before you t-stat opens up. If it still detonates then clearly you don't have a heat problem.

Remove the blower belt and drive the car, see what is happening without the added air from the blower. There is no ill effect to doing this.

Other than that, I hate to say it but your tuner sounds like an @sshat... Telling someone that the car is too hot to tune is absurd.... it made plenty of power the first time and now his story changes?? is this guy reputable? has he tuned other similar cars? to be honest this is such an ordinary combination (no offense) that anyone well verses in tuning EEC IV should be able to do this in 2 or so hours.

I'm running out of the office in a few seconds but when I get some more time I will put together a more in depth response

I think I'm also confuselated....

What exactly, was changed (a list would be awesome / include ambient temp and humidity from dynos) between the first 499rwhp pull and the later 418rwhp pull?

Yes i agree, this should be a standard tune, and yes the tuner is full of it...!

Ok,$1000 dollars, blown head gasket, tows, fluids, gaskets,my head aches and time all behind me now!
I went personally to talk to the tuner that was my first choice, and i should have went to in the first place before i found out how bad this company was,i told him what happend, showed him the dyno results,he cringed at the dyno sheets and said he can get it going as is,but if i want a saftey measure to run a meth kit, witch i will order tonight

Word on the street was this guy knows his stuff,I have to say this guy was great, asked me all the right questions, explained everything to me how it works, advantages, disadvantages, cost, what i need, what i dont need for certain hp, didnt leave one thing out,he literaly spent an hour with me showing me what all the graphs meant, and how it should be,before and afters,he didnt say who,but i know who they came from!,also told me my car will get what ever he can do safley and thats it,but with my set up it shouldnt be a problem at all, even with the temps.... think im in good hands now!

And best thing of all?,no joke?,he had 4 foxbodies getting sc installed!,plus his foxbody race car also!,and other makes in the parking lot!,but i can tell hes down with the foxes!....only ty thing but it is a good thing is he cant even put me on the waiting list until oct!,but im going to wait!

Longest post i ever wrote, all for a basic set up!....wow!

You've gone this far, it's worth the wait. Just take the belt off the blower and deliver the car NA to this tuner with belt in hand so things don't get messed up in-between.

Only thing i changed was the head gasket,1011-1 to 9333pt1,wich lowerd compression a bit,and vortec pulley,333 to 344 i think it was?,the temps not sure, was close to same wheather as the first time?

I could go through and quote individual pieces but instead I'll just ask:

Have you considered the possibility that there's a crack somewhere?

I think I also have to agree with the assessment of the tuner. This should not have been a difficult task.
