Your temps don't sound extreme to me IMO. Does your car still detonate before it gets to the 180-200 degree temps? Sounds pretty easy to find out to me, go drive your car and get into boost before you t-stat opens up. If it still detonates then clearly you don't have a heat problem.its a long story its all in this thread,but after install,got my first tune,499rwhp,drove it home it was detonating like crazy,so i parked it,next morning i checked my oil and it was mixed with water!,blown head gasket!
replaced head gasket with a thicker one,9333pt1,cylinder pressure went from 185psi to 160psi
changed pulley from 333 to 347,re tuned,and got 418 rwhp,but its still detonating from 1plus psi,the tuner said that my car runs to hot?,and for it to work i have to get my temps below 180deg?.....in the summer my car runs between 185-195 moving,and 195-210 in hot traffic?
